I am a regular customer of AVIS whenever we travel to other countries but this is the first time that I have a negative experience. This specific branch did not return our deposit!!! The total amount in the contract is 8361.53 NOK (including full insurance). They pre-authorized 9479.61 NOK and said that the 1118.08 NOK is the deposit and will be refunded back upon return of the vehicle. We returned the vehicle without any damage last May 13 and my card was charged a total of 9609.03 NOK. I waited for several days thinking that they will refund the difference. Months have passed and still no refund. I emailed their customer support but no one is responding! Just automated emails!!!

Would give 0 stars on the count of having 3 vehicles in 3 days which resulted in countless hours spent calling to change the faulty vehicles and money spent abroad when we should be spending time off the phone and on holiday. We rented an electric vehicle, some electric stations in Norway require you to be a Norwegian national which didnt help and you need data on your phone! One car had a poor battery which said which required charging every 2 hours and one had a faulty break system. Also charged me an extra fee! please check the vehicles before you rent them as one staff said that one of our vehicles had been sitting for weeks !As you can imagine it didn't help the situation!

Warning! This company is an absolute nightmare! I had the most horrendous experience renting from them. I rented a car in the freezing depths of a Norwegian winter, only to break down in the middle of nowhere. We were stranded for a mind-numbing five hours, freezing our toes off, missing our flights, and cursing the day we ever encountered this hellish company. Finally, they managed to replace our broken-down car, and we returned it as soon as possible. But the nightmare didn't end there!Weeks later, out of the blue, this company began charging our credit card with random and outrageous amounts. They had the audacity to withdraw 100, 200, 500, 550, 720, and a whopping 1010 Norwegian Kroner from our account without any explanation whatsoever! As for now we’ve been charged with more than 7000 NOK. It didn't matter how many emails we sent, across different countries and email addresses, they simply ignored us. This despicable treatment of customers is beyond comprehension.I would strongly caution against ever renting from this abomination of a company. I will never, ever return to them, and I implore everyone I know to steer clear of this wretched establishment. Should anyone from their so-called support" be reading this

3 (!) month after returning the car I was charged 1000 EUR for.... Yes, I don't know why, Avis also don't know why, and they did it in a scamming way, charging me as I was in their office while I was still 1200 km away. Hope this money will be returned and if not then some law processes would be launched.

Worst rental. We rented a car in December, our credit car was connected. There were no complaints when returning the car. It's been 2.5 months and they took 12000 NOK from the account without any explanation. We didn't get an email, nothing! That is, to know well what for, if there was any damage or fine - I would like to see papers and some evidence. We call many times - no one answered. All the time we heard that no one knows anything, or that we will check why it happened and let you know. Of course no one answered. The money has not been returned. On what basis they were taken is unknown. DON’T RECCOMEND! They are scammers, beware.

Disse er en gjeng med svindlere. Jeg har levert bilen hel og fin, så får jeg en Mail på faktura som jeg må betale 6000kr for egenandel på en skade. Jeg fikk ikke informasjon når jeg mottok bilen at det er en egenandel. Det var en forsikringssak, de bare leverte nøkkel og ba meg skrive under her og der. Jeg vet 100% skaden har ikke skjedd under min eie. De har tatt bilder av skaden i en vaskehall, de beviser ikke meg at bilde av skaden er tatt før bilen har vært i bruk etter levering. Jeg har vært i kontakt med direktør Fabio Andre Gomes, som er mest respektløse personen jeg har møtt på. Han ga ikke en forklaring på situasjonen engang. Saksbehandler Hans Erik har null forstårelse er om å snakke til en vegg. Eneste de bryr seg om er pengene de skal svindle.Etter dette så har min forsikringsselskap sluttet å bruke disse svindlerne. Nå bruker de Hertz for forsikring saker. Noe jeg er veldig fornøyd med.

I wanted to rent a Tesla model 3. Because they didn’t had Tesla at this location, I choose Polestar 2.I was very excited. Charging stations are almost everywhere.I recommend Budget rent a car.
