Beautiful historical dwelling with informative tours by the host, Alexander. Afternoon tea, delicious cakes and a wonderful view across the Dalsfjord.

If you are going to one of their afternoon teas, which I highly reccomend. Organize a booking in advance because they do book full. enjoying tea in such a beutiful wellpreserved place is such a weird experience. you do believ that you've somehow been transported to an english teaparty in the middle of a norwegian fjord.

We spent two nights here related to a wedding in the neighbourhood. It's like staying in a living museum.If this place actually stepped up in offering bed and breakfast and not just bed, it would be an awesome place to stay for a few days. As it is now, it's a pricy bed in a quite interesting environment. Since the host is living in the house as well, it feels like a weird private visit even though its not.Definitely worth a visit if you manage to find your way here through the extremely narrow roads.
