Trolltunga Active

We started the hike with really good weather and it remained amazing all the way Until the end of the hike with good sun and blue skies. Selena our guide was so helpful and ensuring throughout the whole hike and I really enjoyed myself. One of the best hikes I have ever embarked on thanks to Trolltunga Active. The briefing held one day before the hike really helped to ensure that we had all the necessary gear and food ready to conquer the 10-11 hour hike. Overall it was an amazing experience :)

photos they took at Trolltunga were not good at all as the camera was old. Any smartphone takes better pics. The tour started late and ended late so that we missed our connection and had to pay extra because odda taxi and bussen are two different companies, but the earliest is odda taxi for the morning and the latest is the bus. someone should have told us this but in the pre-meeting no details were given regarding the shuttle service although people asked. also the fact that Trolltunga active has a cooperation with Trolltunga hotel is of no use for you as a traveller! you will have to pay the shuttle, the lunchbox and a way too much expensive room in a hotel that is 2-3km from the city center away. it makes no sense. Don‘t fall for that! Only the meetup is that hotel, but in the morning you have to get up earlier, have linited breakfast and noone helps u booking the shuttle or recommends u timings…the guides were friendly and fun, however, one vanished out of the sudden without letting us know and our group was split then… they went faster apparently. I would have also liked to go with them to make it to our connection, but noone communicated with us.So I can recommend the guided tour to Trolltunga only partially. If you re not a conplete beginner, you can clearly do the hike alone if you start early enough. 120 euros and not even the shuttle is included… it is a lot when you are not from Norway
