A must stay in Norway!! The breakfast is incredible. The dinner was one of the best meals I've ever had. The views are amazing and the staff is above and beyond. We can't wait to come back!

We only visited the premises of the hotel (which dates from 1640 and is the oldest hotel in Norway) during our waiting time for the ferry to Urnes. What a beautiful historic hotel! Beautifully located on the shores of the fjord, maintained in perfect shape and full of historical details. Closing your eyes and imagine how life was in the 27th century is not very difficult here.Situated at the end of the road in the quaint village of Solvorn, one can imagine why Norwegians are one of the 'happiest people in the world' .

A fantastic place to stay, beautiful grounds and well furnished. The hotel is staffed by some of the most helpful people we've met this entire 3week trip. Stay for a couple days to enjoy the surroundings. Also hosts a gallery of regional artists

This was one of the best experiences I have had at a hotel in my life. The entire staff were helpful and friendly. The location is stunning. The food was terrific. The sommelier even offered to give me a tour of the cellar and walked me through some of the details of their amazing list. Well worth a detour on your journey through Norway.

Ja da blir det å gå rettens vei som forbruker, når eier av hotellet stjeler penger fra kunder så kan dere bare tenke hvordan resten av denne banden operere.Meget skuffende og det kommer nok til å skje igjen så her er det bare å holde seg langt unna.

This has been a terrible experience, both financially and in terms of service. I have never in my 30 years of travel across the world experienced this level of lack of professionalism and service mindedness. Stealing money from your clients must be the lowest form of business and rest assure i will take this case to the courts.Stay away from this “establishment “
