Cosy and peacefull resort at swedish countryside. We were here during Vasaloppet and resorts service was very flexible. Real value for customers for example pasta buffet and early breakfast.

Overall, this is a cozy hostel by the river that is the only in this area. Definitely in need of some renovations, however. The owners are friendly and helpful.HOWEVER, their sauna is completely unsafe. I was the only guest in the hostel the night I stayed there, and asked them to turn on the sauna before I got there. After a few minutes in the sauna I noticed that the sauna stove had turned off. They posted a sign outside the sauna with photo instructions for what to do in case it the overheating protection turned the stove off. The instructions said to draw down the metal plate on the bottom of the stove and push the red rest buttons found on two black electrical boxes (with a lot of wires connected). The arrows pointed under these boxes and the buttons couldn't be seen.I then went back into the dimly-lit sauna, opened up the bottom panel, saw the two black boxes, but couldn't see any buttons. Being that the instructions pointed to the bottom of the black boxes, I felt around there with my fingers to find the buttons, and received a pretty strong electrical shock. Thankfully I was OK, and got my phone to shine some light in this electrical compartment. It turns out the bottons weren't at all where the arrows were pointing. I pushed the buttons and the stove turned back on.Guests should NOT have to stick their hands in the electrical compartments of sauna stoves. When I talked to the owner about it, she said she was sorry and that she would try to make the sign more clear, to which I said that they should get a stove that their guests didn't have risk electrocution to make function. Her only answer was that she was sorry and would update the sign.So my advice to potential guests - stay there if you must, but take advantage of their spa services" at your own risk....."

Amazing experience, rooms are super clean and the private sauna is amazing

I stayed here a couple of days with my girlfriend and the owners were lovely people. The rooms were fresh and the location is lovely. They also own the restaurant down the road, Restaurang Dalen, we ate there both evenings because the food was so good!
