Very friendly place to stay and the staff is really nice. We enjoyed the sauna and the kitchen was very useful. Highly recommend to stay here .

After running from the horror that was åndalsnes guesthouse we were pleased to find this hostel to be spacious clean and welcoming.We were concerned it would be noisy due to proximity to the road but it was not.The breakfasts were good. There was also a kitchen upstairs where you could cook for yourself.It also had a laundry machine.Where stayed here 4 nights and had a great stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice place! The host is very friendly, the rooms are clean. Nice kitchen with everything needed for cooking. Free bikes to go to town. Free parking and free fast internet.

Beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Somehow our cabin was double booked, but the owner offered us a room in the hostel for free. That was very kind! High standards for a hostel with private room, sauna and very clean toilets and showers.

First of all, it's really hard to find. We booked it as Setnes Feriesenter and it doesn't appear in the GPS map or on the internet with that name. The cabins are great, recently built, and some of them overlook the fjord, but the sleeping area is not tall enough to prepare the beds and you need to bend your back painfully for some time. Breakfast is average, we lacked cottage cheese and more fruit but toasts and cereals were good. Internet connection is poor and not steady in some cabins, maybe in the common area. The lady who runs the place is available most of the times, but we were leaving early in the morning the last day and she didn't allow us to grab some food to take away, and not miss the breakfast money entirely, so we were quite upset.

Very clean hostel with nice atmosphere and comfortable relaxing areas with sofas and books, new and for a hostel very luxurious showers (not sure if everywhere, but at least in the part of the hostel I have been), walking distance (about 25 minutes) from the train station, good breakfast. But there is on big disadvantage: The mattress I had was really bad (I guess it was an pretty old spring mattress) and caused pretty hard back pain the next morning.

Excellent place to stay in a location with such good views. We had 5 nights and felt comfortable and welcome. Staff is very friendly and the inhouse breakfast is worth it. Quite a few nooks and crannies to hang out in after a days biking

I utgangspunktet deler man kjøkken og bad med 3 andre rom, men vi var heldige og fikk det for oss selv. Rommet vårt kostet rundt 950kr. I utgangspunktet er dette en stiv pris for et hostel, men dette prisnivået har etablert seg her på grunn av all turisme, så det får man ikke gjort så mye med, med mindre det blir mer konkurranse. Vi prøvde ikke frokosten som man må betale et tillegg for på 95kr per prtson. Vi fikk et hyggelig opphold her, i sin helhet.

Ok sted. Ikke noe luksushotell men det er du fort ikke ute etter hvis du velger stedet her uansett. Bra pris, greie fasiliteter og veldig fin beliggenhet. Kunne sjekket over toalettene oftere for å sikre at de er rene, men ellers var renholdet ikke noe å klage på (må forvente litt på toalettene siden flere deler de). Hyggelig betjening som ønsker deg velkommen.

A good value for money hostel, cleand and with super good and varied breakfast. Helpful staff and close to center and hicking routes. Even though bathroom and shower are shared and the furniture is a bit old, you have everything you need to feel comfortable. Plus sauna and the mattresses, pillows and bed covers are new. You also have a good equipped kitchen and large enough, where you can cook and enjoy a dinner also together with other guests. And this exchange of impressions with other guests makes staying in a hostel really worth it.
