Well located car park. it is worth booking in advance to have a place. The road from P2 to P3 is long, winding and steep. By booking P3, you save time and effort to climb the Trollunge

Parking here is 600 nok, 150-200 nok with one way shuttle bus. Turns a 12 hour hike into 8-9 hours. Definitely worth it as the first few hours are boring and mostly up the road leading to the parking lot. There is another road that goes through the forest but most people just walk up this road now.

This is Carpark 3, the closest carpark to the trailhead. Definitely book in advance if you want to shave off a few hours from your hike. Note that there is no toilet at this carpark (and throughout the hike).

Really good time saver as road from P2 to P3 is not scenic at all.Sadly has to be rated 2 stars because the toll road for private road (which is 200NOK) wasnt mentioned at website.

The best spot to start the trek otherwise you have to walk extra 4 km on a steep road, But it is a rip OFF. Not only you have to pre book and pay 60 euros for the parking but when you arrive you have to pay extra 20 euros to Drive the 4 km to the parking. Too expensive, just a rip off
