Thon Hotel Terminus
Great price and location, so close to public transportation and the central station. The breakfast was really good! Friendly staff. The room was small, but I knew it from previous reviews, and I honestly didn't mind since I only went to sleep, and I always preferred to have a very clean room and good location which this hotel has. I would come back again.

Fikk et flott og romslig rom. Varmekabler på badet trekker opp. Fint med p-hus like ved som ikke var så dyrt. God service. Litt slitent" område utenfor. Sentralt."

Great location walking distance to Oslo Sentral which was very important to us. We needed a room that was able to accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids - actually quite difficult to find hotel rooms big enough for that in Norway. However, we were provided with a corner suite which had a double bed and sofa bed which was pulled out and prepared with linens prior to our arrival. We appreciated that very much! Room 205 was big enough for the double bed, the open sofa bed, 4 extra large bags and 4 backpacks. We were happy to find that we had enough room to rearrange all of our camping gear to fit perfectly in our bags before departing for the airport. The breakfast buffet, as others have said in their reviews, was absolutely fantastic and has options for everyone. Looking at the facade of the hotel, I didn't have high expectations but the room itself was renovated and the bathroom was big and clean. The baggage storage room was also helpful since we had a later flight. This hotel was the perfect last stop before leaving Norway after a 2 week camping trip. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Location! Breakfast is fantastic!! Loved everything except our room size. Booked this hotel from USA and opted for Queen bed for me and my wife instead of double bed. All Queen bed rooms are at the attic with slanted ceiling and are very small. Didn’t pay much attention to the photos. Some clear disclosures would have been very helpful and avoided booking this kind of room.

The location of the hotel is very central. Most touristy locations are within walkable distance (about 7-10 mins walk) or you can take a bus /train/tram which is also in about 3-4 mins walk from the hotel.Their breakfast spread was superb and very fresh. They had quite a few gluten free options too which was convenient.The rooms are okay but we had a bit of a problem on the first night. We checked in late and it was hassle free but somehow there were bugs in our bed. My husband couldn't sleep well. We complained about it and they replaced the mattress and the beds were all fine then. Room cleaning is done every third day so you have to request them if you want to get it done everyday.Overall our stay was good and we enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend this hotel.

Fantastic stay here. Staff were amazing, so friendly room was clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic and easy access to town and also the concert arenas. Shame I didn’t get to sample the breakfast as I had to leave the sameDay due to work.

It was a family holiday in july end 20203 and we booked 2 rooms.The rooms size was not too big- but i guess that a thing with scandinavian hotels.The location was 2 mins walk to central station. Right opposite the hotel was a mall.It was also well connected to bars/ shopping street and other attractions one would want to visit.The breakfast had a good spread. had an amazing variety of dips/ cheese/ smoothies/ juices-- u name it and they had it.cant complain for rooms-they were small neat and tidy and totally worth it for the amount.would totally recommend it.

Amazing hotel!I stayed in the hotel twice this year and it was always a great experience.Perfect location - just 3 mins from the main train station.Front desk staff are very kind - I wish I could remember name of the amazing guy who checked me in in May.Once I had a bigger room and once a smaller one, but both were very nice and cozy.Amazing breakfast that's way beyond of what you need :)Good complimentary coffee in lobby.Minor imperfections - a bit dusty rooms and the elevator which is closer to front desk is a pain - it's better to get a room on the lower floors and just use stairs.Hope to be back soon :)
