Authentic Scandinavia AS

I just returned from the wonderful adventure on the Inland Railway and visiting the three beautiful cities of Stockholm, Tallinn and Helsinki.Starting from communication, organization and itinerary, everything was excellent.The communication with Authentic Scandinavia was very good from the beginning, I received answers to all the questions I had before booking this excursion-adventure.The organization and itinerary very well and detailed ... as if I did it myself ...The booked hotels were exactly as I imagined, the rooms are superb, clean, equipped with everything they need. And especially very close to the train station - 10 minutes' walk.The train reservations were very well chosen so that you have time to visit the city in detail between two trains.

Amazing amazing amazing!!! From the first moment of using Authentic Scandinavia to book a tour, they were amazing! I booked a tour including Finland, Sweden and Norway and they handled booking all hotels, transportation and excursions. They were so helpful every step of the way and would always respond to my frantic emails in a timely manner with all the information I needed. Nothing on the scheduled tour did not go as planned. All trains, busses, boats and excursions were at the exact times that the company stated in my itinerary. I can't express enough how easy they made it to travel from place to place. The itinerary included specific instructions on how to get from place to place, even down to details on how to get from a train station to a hotel. I would have given this company 10 stars if possible. The amount of time and organization that they saved me was invaluable!!! Do yourself a favour and book your tour with Authentic Scandinavia!!!

E' stata davvero un'esperienza indimenticabile la mini crociera a gennaio di 2 giorni sulla hurtigruten con partenza da tromso ed arrivo a kirkenes. Questo tour prevedeva una notte al Clarion Hotel the edge; un ottimo hotel a ridosso del porto. Approfitto per ringraziare la Sig.ra Jessica Luster dell'agenzia per la gentilezza e disponibilità nell'accogliere le mie richieste :) La nave, MSTrollfyord seppur un pò datata è in grado di soddisfare ogni esigenza, Le cene sono state ottime; una servita eduna a buffet. La ciliegina sulla torta è stata l'incredibile vista dei fiordi innevati illuminati da una splendida luna piena. Spettacolare è stata anche la visita che abbiano fatto il giorno successivo all'imbarco, a Honningsvag, un delizioso paesino sito al 71°N / 26°E sommerso dalla neve e dalle incantevoli luci della notte artica. Purtroppo per le cattive condizioni climatiche è stata cancellata la gita al villaggio dei pescatori (sempre a Honningsvag), ma siamo comunque riusciti a fare una bella passeggiata e a scattare delle foto che spero rendano giustizia alla magnificenza del paesaggio che ci siamo trovati davanti :) Questa mini crociera è stata una delle cose più belle ed emozionanti di questo viaggio...VOTO 10!!A kirkenes abbiamo prenotato, sempre con la stessa compagnia, il King Crab Safari". My husband and I recently took a trip with Authentic Scandinavia to Sweden and Norway for our honeymoon. Right from the beginning of booking our trip and choosing our activities for each day, we had such a great experience with AS. This was our first trip out of the USA so we were nervous about transportation and accommodations but AS put our minds at ease. The customer service reps with AS were very responsive to our questions and explained the booking process and prices so well. To top it all off, when we got to Scandinavia our itinerary and vouchers that AS sent us were so thorough, specific, and helpful. They had rides set up for us to and from all of our activities and accommodations which were always easy to find and on time. Many of our meals were included in our booking price and there were no extra hidden fees. AS made our honeymoon unforgettable and stress-free. We would recommend AS to anyone wishing to go on a trip of a lifetime to Scandinavia!

Loved our trip to Norway, but thought the hotel in Oslo was a great disappointment. Whilst in a convenient position for the train station the room was tiny i.e. only one person could stand out of bed at a time. This was the hotel that we upgraded too! Oslo in it's self was disappointing and we wished we had spent only one night there.

What a beautiful trip we had with Authentic Scandinavia AS. The locations of hotels were prime right in the middle of the main sightseeing places, hotels were beautiful with immaculate service. We did not have to use taxi at all. The travel instructions from ferries and airports were right on point and easy to read. We had the best time and highly recommend the travel agency. A special bonus was the free tour of Stockholm where you just tip the guide. I enjoyed the tour, it had so many interesting facts I never knew before and the guide made it very humorous as well. Best 10 days spent! We will use them again for our next trip. They are prompt in responding to emails as well and are very organized.
