Really surprised by this modern, interactive and complete museum. It contains a chronology of the natural history of Norway including minerals and their formation, dinosaurs, fauna, flora, demographics... you name it!On top of the main exposition there's an immersive video focusing on the nature of the area that was really beautiful and relaxing, and a slideshow of Norwegian art inspired by nature. All explanations are in Norwegian, English and German (with the text being right next to the exposed thing they are referring to). On top of that, many tablets sprinkled around the museum have that same information in a number of other languages such as Spanish, French, etc...

Pretty nice small museum. I liked the movie a lot. The exhibit is just right to see it in an hour and get a good glance of the Norwegian nature and landscape.

Super experience for everyone. Here, we just wanted to learn something about Norway’s history but found a museum full of information starting from Norways climate, structure, development, animals, a panorama film and nature footage to a general floor covering climate change, the atmosphere and much more. When you are struggling if you should visit the museum, just go. It really is worth the price and you will need 1:30-2h. The only suggestion to make it even better is to film a new panorama movie to include some new pictures with a higher quality ;)

This is a beautiful place with wonderful exhibits. Based on the nature of the structure we had hope that it would be set in the more pristine place or that there would be forests and trails surrounding it. Instead it is located right beside a busy highway and a sheep pasture with no trails and very few trees and very little to do. They're encouraging you to enjoy nature but only if you stand inside the building and look at static displays.

Older panoramic movie of nature from a helicopter. 2023 is supposed to have a newer version according to gift shop. Conservation focused exhibits, hiking, camping, and hunting simulator. Restaurant with local flavors across the street- gift shop with goats on the roof. Pricey souvenirs.
