Initially, I intent to give a 5☆ review tbut tonight I have met the only Norwegian person not nice in our 10 days of holiday. Our daughter will make 16 years tonight and I have kindly asked her to help me with a candle. Ive wanted to buy a small cake and make her a surprise but we any minimum interest to help

Fin og avslappa atmosfære, me kom innom rett etter klokka 18:00 og det var relativt få folk der då. Rask service. Bestilte focaccia til forrett og to pizza pluss raudvin. Førstnevnte var nokså basic. Pizzaene var eigentleg smakfulle, men botnen hadde preg av svidd semulegryn som påvirka heilskapen. Detta gjer at vurderinga trekk lenger ned enn ønskeleg. Håpar smaken av svidd semulegryn var eit eingongstilfelle.

Betjening hyggelig og behjelpelig. Søndags buffet var dyrt for hva du få. Det var så mye sand i mine grønnsaker at jeg måtte klage. Ansatte var super hyggelig og fikk tilbake pengene mine. Anbefaler ikke å spise her søndags buffet.

Maybe the pizza is better. We had the burger and it was average.. the service at check out was rude... I would take my money elsewhere next time...

Went to the Popolo Osteria & Bar at the Scandic hotel, near Bergen Airport on Aug 25. Ordered an appetizer (cold cuts) and a Quatro Formaggi pizza. The prosciutto tasted funny and the salami was horrible. The 6 green and black olives were tasteless and all three cheeses tasted more like plastic. I was looking forward to the pizza, but apparently the plastic, also known as cheese in this Osteria, ruined the pizza too. The staff was courteous.

Great service and spacious location, seafood pasta, salami pizza and calzone were excellent, meatball pasta was good if a bit strongly flavoured.

This was by far the worst restaurant i have been to in Norway. Looks like an upscale, nice hotel restaurant, but that is where the niceties end. The server was rude, didn't even offer us water when we sat down. She always had a frown on her face. Ordered fried goat cheese with plum sauce. Tasted like overly fried breaded ricotta and tomato sauce. Both bland. Steak, squash salad and potatoes, and tortellini. Steak wasn't bad, the salad was green and yellow squash, tomatoes, in olive oil. No spices no herbs, nothing. Same with the tortellini. I think the chef has an aversion to flavor. And children came through the dining room on scooters. Classy joint.

Great restaurant! I have only had a couple of meals there but I was never disappointed. The waiters and waitresses are very service-minded and cheerful, making the experience really enjoyable. Good choice of dishes that will fit anybody's taste.
