Wathne Camping

We had a nice stay in Wathne Camping.I was there with the caravan while our friends rented cabins. The owner is very flexible, we could park near the cabins. Everything is nice and clean, if you want to have good times with friends and family than you are in the right place!

Great camping! Very clean showers and toilets and there’s music playing in the building which gives it a good vibe. The camping is next to a road but we didn’t mind. At night there’s little traffic and at day it didn’t bother us also. We were sleeping in a tent. Beautiful view across the lake! Cool to see the friendly owner organised a water fight with all the children from the camping and their parents (25 degrees celcius).

Very nice, quiet place, we had a spot right next to the lake. Host is very friendly. Best part was unlimited access to hot water (showers, kitchen), it was the only camping with that possibility we were sleeping on in Norway.

Recently visited Wathne Camping with my friends. The place is clean, tidy and well equipped. The owner is very nice and constantly cares about the comfort of guests. The views are breathtaking. Breakfast with a beautiful fjord in the background? Priceless. I definitely recommend it!

Great Campground with clean facilities and kind hosts. At the time of our visit the washing machine was being repaired but the owner still let us use their private one so we could get our stuff clean.Beautiful nature setting and a nice little play area for kids.

Good camping. The owner works very hard to make sure everyone is comfortable. Shower and facilities very clean.

We stayed for 3 nights in one of the caravans and it was a really great stay. The camp ground is next to a beautiful lake that you can explore for a small fee with Kajaks rented by the campsite. The facilities are very clean, the kitchen has all the equipment you’ll need for cooking. You have to bring your own towels but bedsheets are included in your stay at the caravan. The caravan has electricity and even a microwave to prepare an easy meal if you don’t want to use the kitchen. The preikestolen hike is approximately 30 minutes by car from the campsite. The next supermarket is a 10 min drive away. It is even possible to take a longer day trip to kjerak. We would highly recommend this place, especially because of its great location and the friendly staff.
