Runde Panorama

This place is unbelievable. The host, who owns the property and runs the family business, was happy to share their personal story behind it (where the inspiration came from, the insane challenges they had to jump through to complete construction, etc), which made us appreciate our short stay at the Trollvogga cabin that much more. The cabins were completed in 2020 and designed to integrate into the surrounding landscape, with giant panoramic windows that perfectly frame some of the best ocean views I've seen in Norway. The private balconies, interior design, and layout are no less impressive, with clean lines and fresh, modern, and minimal furnishing (yet fully equipped with most, if not *all* kitchen utensils and amenities) that focuses less on grabbing your attention and more on embracing the views. The family's passion and dedication really begins to shine through in details as nuanced as interior lighting and color schemes as well, all of which have clearly been carefully considered to balance the space out nicely. Our host even explained that they needed special permission, paperwork, and approval from the Norwegian Government to build as close to the sea as they did, so the experience you get at Runde Panorama truly is unique. Breakfast is available nextdoor at the family's older Christineborg Gjesthus, with a terrace to eat outside right by the sea. Of all of the accommodations we booked for our 12-day hiking roadtrip through Vestland, Runde Panorama left us completely stunned and almost numb, simply raising the bar to an extraoridinarily high level.

We absolutely loved staying here during our trip to Norway!! We stayed in the Blått Hav cabin and it was the perfect space to stay for two couples. The views were fantastic and I wish we could have stayed longer.
