Walks and hikes on Fløyen - Fløyen | Fløibanen har vært i kontinuerlig drift siden 1918, kun avbrutt av oppgraderinger underveis. Nå har vi tatt’an helt ut, og har plass til 120 eksemplarer av både bymann og stril på hver eneste avgang. Du kan både rulle og spasere ombord fra oppdaterte holdeplasser, og selv om banen nå har blitt 4,5 meter lengre, så får vi deg til topps i ekspressfart!

Beautiful area with many hiking options for all kinds of hikers. Some trails are very developed and others are just tracks, and the terrain is varied as well. As visitors, it was helpful to read ahead of time some of the suggested hikes listed in the Fløyen website.

Easy hike to the top with an amazing view of the city. I definitely recommend doing this when you visit Bergen.

Take the funicular railway up and walk down. We were in Bergen in December. It was raining rather than snowing. We.took the funicular railway up Mr Floyben to discover that it was snowing on the mountain, which was DELIGHTFUL. There were good walks up there, cafes and restaurants. And the view of Bergen and the Fjord was wonderful.

Excellent for an easy hike and some great views. Plenty of wooded area to keep cooler in the sun (if you're lucky). Popular, but relatively quiet once you get away from the funicular station.

Great place to start hikes - lots of different options and distances you can go, well signposted and a playground for kids as well as a couple of restaurants.
