Fantastisk hotell! Beste hotelfrokosten jeg har opplevd i Norge.Fine rom og meget serviceinnstilt personale.Bybanen stopper over gaten og det ligger veldig sentralt.

The location was excellent and the staff very friendly. The breakfast has a lot of varieties and Giselda was very very nice, helpful and cheerful. It was nice chatting with her.The location obviously is very good. Walking distance to almost everything.The room was good and had everything we needed. A bit small but still ok.Overall our stay was a success and I will definitely rebook with this hotel if or when I come back, because Bergen is so so much fun to visit

Absolutely fabulous breakfast! I mean it!On the other hand, no AC in the rooms, which is a problem when it’s unusually hot in the city. We had to open a window and doors to get some fresh air in.Small outdated gym.But otherwise a solid choice near the train station and in the walking distance from the center.

We stayed at a corner suite on 12th floor for 1 night.The room is spacious, with a separate living room and bedroom.Bathroom has heated floors, which is a really nice touch.There are 2 wireless charging pads on both sides of the bed - very convenient, I wish they were present in more hotels.We really liked the room.We traveled with our kid - the hotel provided a rollaway bed free of charge (but they put it next to our bed at bedroom, so we had to pull it back into the living room on our own).I need to notice that most of rooms in the hotel are considerably smaller and part of them is overlooking the internal atrium (windows in the vertigo inducing picture made from the lift balcony on the 12th floor).You can capture some of nice Bergen panorama from that lift balcony on 12th or get to the outdoor terrace on 9th floor.There is a cafe downstairs, but we didn't have time to visit it because of early departure.There is also a restaurant on 13th floor, but it was closed for the summer time.

The hotel is modern and well located, close to the center and next to the train station. The rooms are spacious, but the cleanliness can be greatly improved. It is surely a management problem. There were details in the room, such as the coffee maker, which looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. We even found food, a sausage, inside the water heater left by the previous guest. How can these things not be checked in room cleaning? I include photos so you can see it. Also details like the dirty bathroom door frame. In short, I believe that cleanliness should be a key aspect when sleeping in a hotel.On the other hand, after having stayed in different Norwegian hotels on our trip, we noticed that the breakfast was not at the same level as other hotels of the same category and price. I will be more specific. The coffee was very bad, undrinkable. Very bitter, burnt. The fried eggs were usually cold, the sausages were of low quality and, worst of all, the only toaster that there was only worked half of it, that is, every morning you had to wait and wait until you could toast yourself. I was in the hotel 7 nights and the toaster was not fixed or changed. What difficulty was there to put another toaster? It is not a problem of the staff but of the hotel management.Another aspect that I did not like was the gym because it was not clean. The machines were dirty but from a long time ago. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time.On a positive note, I must say that the reception staff were very friendly and diligent.

Fint og sentralt hotell. Vi valgte spesifikt dette rommet for å få utsikt, og det var helt magisk med slike store vinduer og fin solnedgang. Må trekke ned på rommet på grunn av minikjøleskap som bare kjølte sånn halvveis og dårlig aircondition. Samtidig er det veldig dårlig beskrevet på Booking.com hva de forskjellige romtypene faktisk gir deg. Vi bestilte som sagt spesifikt dette rommet for å få utsikt og ønsket oss balkong. Da bildene på den romtypen vi valgte viste nettopp balkong. Så veldig misvisende når hotellet da sier vi må betale 500kr i oppgradering hvis vi ville ha balkong. God frokost med mye utvalg.

Very nice hotel located in a decent spot in Bergen. Close walk to many attractions and the main city areas. The rooms were a little cramped, considering the size of the hotel. Staff and service were excellent. Breakfast was also very good, although other hotels we visited during our trip definitely did it better. No valet parking or parking facilities at the hotel, so you have to self park at the garage close by. Still a very good experience overall.

Reiste med et lite barn og er langt fra fornøyd. Rommet var ikke tilstrekkelig rengjort, såpedispenserene var ødelagt, sikringen på varmtvannet i badekaret manglet (livsfarlig når et barn skal bruke badekaret). I tillegg virket ikke kanalene på TV, og dette ble heller ikke ordnet på tross av at vi gav beskjed.Regner med denne anmeldelsen blir besvart slik Scandic alltid gjør. Vi tar til oss tilbakemeldingen og skal forbedre oss. Det hjelper lite for oss som har bodd der og betalt dyrt for oppholdet.

For tre uker siden feiret vi en stor dag på Scandic Ørnen. Jubilanten og flere familiemedlemmer overnattet. Middagen på Roast var svært vellykket. God mat, strålende, forekommende service og behagelige omgivelser. Sjelden et restaurantlokale har så mye luft og plass til et litt over middels stort middagsfølge, og samtidig er så trivelig. Utsikten fra 13 etasje gjør sitt. Rommene var kjempefine og omtenksomt satt i stand med fruktfat til velkomst og alt vi kunne trenge. Frokosten var overdådig og ingenting manglet. Tusen takk for oss ❤️Veldig fine rom! Gode familierom!

Dette hotellet har ikke klimaanlegg og særlig rommene som ligger inn mot indra atrium blir veldig varme. Det er også amngel på frisk tilluft og ikke mulighet for å åpne vinduer. Blir liggende søvnløs hele natten og gispe etter luft i 25 grader. Merk også at hotellet er omringet av veldig trafikerte veier som ikke kan kysses enkelt - blir ikke så sentralt som det kan se ut på kartet.
