Elva Hotel & Restaurant

Wonderful new hotel in Voss. Unique aesthetic which is unlike anywhere else nearby. I recommend for anyone doing the Norway in a nutshell trip from Oslo to Bergen. Great and unique fine dining food and good wine also.

המלון בוטיק הכי יפה שראיתי! מעוצב ברמה הכי גבוהה. חדר המלון עם קיר זכוכית לכיוון נוף האגם המקסים. אי אפשר להפסיק להתפעל... הצוות מאוד אדיב וחייכן. אוירה משפחתית. 7 דק נסיעה ממרכז העיר. 1 דק מסופרמרקט. מושלם.

Despite enjoying being in a beautifully designed building and in a great location on the lake where the river enters, my experience at the Elva was not that great. First was having to wait 10 minutes to use the toilet ‐ there just aren't enough in the restaurant and having no male/female toilets of course slows everything down as there is no urinal option for men. I ended up going outside and finding a place to relieve myself as I was so desperate ! The meal itself was mediocre. I had the mushroom risotto, the only vegan option, and it looked most unappetising, like a big plate of porridge witha few mushrooms and nasturtium leaves to decorate it. It was not worth the price. The service was slow as the restaurant seemed understaffed though the waiters and waitresses did their best and were very nice. My group rented the sauna and jacuzzi area. There was not enough wood in the sauna and I had to go searching around for another sack. So, overall, the management have a lot to improve before I would give a better review.

Smukt hotel, hvor der er tænkt over detaljerne. Store panoramavinduer giver direkte udsyn til elv og fjeld. Også lækker morgenmad.

It’s a nice cozy hotel ,you can enjoy the spectacular view through the window while you are lining in your bed or sitting on a comfy chair . The cottages are stylish and modern.The staff are very kind .

Fantastic new hotel with cozy, modern cabin-style rooms. You enjoy full view to the lake from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bed is nestled into one of the windows, making it even more unique to wake up to this pristine landscape. And they even have air conditioning! Breakfast was great and we enjoyed friendly, personal service.

Fantastisk plass og beliggenhet. Personalet var veldig trivelige og servicen på topp. Dette er noe av det bedre jeg har vært på. Anbefales på det sterkeste. Finn på noe gøy med Voss Active i samme slengen. Her skal jeg nok tilbake en gang.
